Allow me to explain what happened on our sailing adventure this morning at 6 AM.
THE BOAT. CAPSIZED.
Here is a picture to prove it.
Yup, Hannah and I stood there in knee deep water watching in abject horror as the boat tipped and then Hannah’s dad fell with it and got underneath the sail. But it was ok - Mr. J managed to get out from under the sail, and then we basically got some rope, Mr. J swam out again and attached it to the sailboat, and then we had to haul her back in. It was an interesting experience! When they get the boat all fixed up though, Hannah and I are going to take it out and sail it. It will be fun.

Biggest regret of visiting Martha’s Vineyard in the winter: you don’t get to see the tall ships actually sailing. (Or any of the other boats sailing, for that matter.) (via Alabama | Northwest Twenty)
The sail training ship Joseph Conrad at Mystic Seaport. Worth the price of (half-off) admission.
